The short version

Analytics only run after you allow them.

Survive The Oasis uses optional Google Analytics to understand which pages, development stories, and links visitors find useful. Declining analytics does not affect the site, and the Privacy button lets you change your choice at any time.

What is measured

• Page views and general visit activity.
• Navigation and link clicks.
• How far visitors scroll and which major sections enter view.
• When an embedded development video enters view.
• General device, browser, traffic-source, and approximate location information supplied by Google Analytics.

What is not intended

The site does not intentionally send names, email addresses, form contents, or other directly identifying text to analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in the site configuration.

Managing your choice

Use the Privacy button at the lower-left of any page to allow or decline analytics. Declining stops analytics from loading and removes the site's Google Analytics cookies from the current browser when possible.
